The procedure that you need to take depends on the country you relocate to.
1. If you are relocating to a country that is not serviced by Saxo, you will not be able to maintain your account with us. Please find the countries serviced by Saxo.
2. If you are moving to a country serviced by Saxo, however, a different Saxo entity/office is serving that country, you will need to close the current account and reopen a new account with that specific Saxo entity.
For example, if you have an account with Saxo Dubai and move to France, you will need to close your Saxo Dubai account and open a new account with Saxo France.
See our offices and entities here: contact us.
Please note:
- Once you have created a new Saxo account in a different country, you can transfer the cash from your old account to it. Please contact us so we can help you with this process.
- In most Saxo offices (except Japan), you can also transfer shares, ETFs or bonds from your old account to your new account. We cannot transfer margin products. Please contact the Saxo office in your new country of residence, open your new account, and request the transfer of your shares and bonds.
