When opening an account or completing a periodic personal information update at Saxo, you may be required to provide a valid Proof of Residence (POR). This article explains which documents we accept and the requirements they must meet.
What is a Proof of Residence POR?
A Proof of Residence (POR) is a document that verifies your residential address and country of residence.
In general, POR documents must be issued within the last 6 months prior to submission. This applies to tax statements as well.
Acceptable POR documents
As a general rule, Saxo accepts the following types of documents as Proof of Residence, given that they meet the requirements outlined in the second column. Please note that acceptance criteria may vary by country. You will normally be informed by Saxo if specific requirements apply to your case.
