You do not pay anything to have an account with Saxo Bank Switzerland. Only if the account has been inactive for an extended period of time will an inactivity fee apply.
For Saxo Bank AG accounts where there has been no trading activity for a period of 90 days, an inactivity fee in the account currency will be charged.
- The Fee is valid for Classic Clients only. (Platinum & VIP Clients are exempted)
- Classic clients it is only charged where AUM is less than CHF 10,000 or equivalent. The new charge is CHF 10 per month, i.e. CHF 30 get billed every 90 days.

How do we notify about the upcoming Fee?
- Clients will receive an automated email after ~60 calendar days have passed since the Last Trading Date.
- Those who remain inactive for ~75 calendar days will then additionally receive an SMS.
- VIP and Platinum clients will not be notified (as they are exempt from Inactivity Fees)

What is considered a trading activity to avoid inactivity fee ?
- A trade executed
OR one of the below :
- Stock / Bonds transfer
- Futures Expiry
- Exercise of FX Option
- Stock Options Expiry
- Corporate Actions (regardless asset class) result a position
- Bonds Maturity
- Barrier Event (FX option)
- Stock/Bond transfer
