What should I do if Auto-Ident does not work?
- Available Monday to Saturday, 07:00 a.m until 10:00 p.m
- If rejected, the identification link is refreshed every 48 hours
- Use the most recent email received (check spam folder)
How to sign the contract?
After identity verification, you will create a qualified e-signature with a password. This signature can also be used for:
- The Saxo Client Agreement
- Securities Lending Agreements
- Lombard Loan Agreements
When is my account activated
Once your identity is verified, you will be notified when your account is activated. This may take up to 3 business days or longer.
Can I complete identification without a smartphone
Yes, using a computer or laptop with a compatible webcam. However, using a smartphone is strongly recommend.

Who can open an account with Saxo?
We onboard persons from most countries. In the first step of the open account process, you are asked to select your country of residency and if there are any restrictions regarding the country you come from, a message will alert you about it.
Is there a minimum funding amount?
In most countries, no minimum funding is required to open a private individual or joint account at Saxo and get access to our platforms. You will need to fund your account to begin investing. Please visit your local Saxo to confirm if minimum funding requirements apply to your country of residence.
