With the new screener list you can now create a dynamic instrument list based on selected filters that will automatically update when it is reloaded.
These are available in the Watchlist (WL) module for all versions of SaxoTraderGO and PRO.
They are designed as a supplement to the existing WL functionality and are managed in exactly the same manner so that screener lists created on one device are available to the user wherever they login.
Once released to all users, then the current screener functionality will be removed from the platform.
Create a screener list
Screener lists are available under the user's existing watchlists in the dropdown selector.
Click on New list to create a new screener list which will default to Stocks as the product type.
The range of additional filters available are dependent on which product type is selected (eg exchanges for listed products only).
Once the desired filters are selected, choose how many results to return and which is the critical query filter including sort order
This determines which instruments are loaded into the WL module as part of the screener list.
This query filter will also be added next to the Instrument column as the most important criteria in the instrument list.
Using a screener list
Manage a particular screener list via the Settings:
The contents of a screener list are refreshed when the list is loaded or filters amended only.
It is not possible to add additional instruments or manually rearrange a screener list:
- The constituents of the screener list are determined by the query filter and sort order selected and remain consistent from when the list was last refreshed
Any of the additional data available as filters can also be manually added as a column to both screener lists and watchlists.
