What are corporate action accruals?
Corporate action accruals reflect cash distribution amounts where a corporate action event has reached its ex-date but has not yet reached pay date. On pay date the amount will be realized and then reflected under Cash and will no longer be shown as a corporate action unrealized amount.
This amount is subject to amendment and or cancellation where necessary should the terms of the corporate action event be amended and or cancelled.
Where are corporate action accruals reflected
All corporate action event details, dates and rates can be found in the corporate action module of the platform (Main menu > Corporate actions). Corporate action unrealized amounts are reflected under Account details - Cash and positions:

Corporate action unrealized amounts are reflected for the following event types:
- Cash Dividends
- Dividend Re-investment
- Dividend Options
- Decrease in value
- Capitals Gains Distributions
- Share Premium Dividends
- Interest Payment
- Distribution on Non Eligible Proceeds
- Capital Distribution
Will an accrual be reflected where I have elected for stock on a distribution.
If an election was received for a stock outturn, the cash equivalent will be reflected until the pay date when the stock will be credited and the accrual amount will no longer be shown.
This amount is reflected as net of taxation.
