Discover Saxo's comprehensive suite of Options

Saxo offers a comprehensive range of options, supported by powerful tools for analysis, risk management, and executing buy and sell orders. This article provides an overview of Saxo's options tools and offers guidance on how to learn more about them.

Please note that most options tools are available on SaxoTrader, with some tools exclusively available on SaxoTrader desktop.

Option chain

The option chain provides detailed information on Strike Prices, Expiration Dates, Bid and Ask Prices, Last Prices, Volume, Open Interest, Implied volatility, Greeks and more. 

You can view the option chain in the Trading tab > Option chain

The option chain includes both call and put options and provides key data for you to analyse and compare different options strategies. The option chain can be costumised to suit your needs. Find out more about the option chain in this article: Using the option chain.

Strategy builder

Saxo's strategy builder tools can help you design, analyse, and implement various options trading strategies. You can combine multi-legged orders in your own strategy or choose from a variety of preset strategies.

Access preset strategies in the option chain by clicking Strategies > Select Strategy > Choose a strategy

In the Options Strategies tab, you can easily access the Risk Graph by clicking Show Risk Graph.

Roll option

The Roll Option allows you to close an existing options position and simultaneously open a new position in the same underlying asset, but with a different expiration date, strike price, or both. You can roll options directly from the Positions module.

Integrated risk data

Saxo offers a range of features to analyse integrated risk data. These features provide comprehensive insights into the various risk factors and can help you make informed decisions. Key features include Greeks such as Delta, Gamma, Theta, Vega and Rho.
