You can request to close your account through the Contact Support module in one of our trading platforms.
Before the account can be closed you need to close or transfer any open positions and withdraw the remaining cash. When you are withdrawing the funds you can also request to close your account by ticking the box "Request closure of account" under Advanced Options.
If you do not have access to the Withdraw Cash module, please complete the withdrawal form (add a note in the form that you would like to close the account) and send a scanned copy to PaymentServices@saxobank.com.
Please remember to print all relevant reports before closing the account. All reports needed for your tax declaration can be found in the Account menu of our platforms. We recommend at least printing a copy of the Account Statement and the Trades reports for your records.
Note: Once your account has been closed you will no longer have access to our platforms and it can take up to 2 weeks for us to process requests for printed reports. You can find instructions how to find the reports here: Where can I find my financial reports?
Please note that due to legal requirements, Saxo is obliged to keep your data for at least 7 years following the account closure.
