Saxo offers two simple ways to open a Stocks & Shares ISA account, depending on whether you are an existing client or new to Saxo. Follow the instructions below based on your situation.
For Existing Clients with a General Investment Account
If you already have a Saxo General Investment Account, you can open an ISA account directly from the platform.
Step-by-Step Guide to Open an ISA Account

Log in to Your Saxo Account
Access the Saxo platform using your login credentials. -
Navigate to "My Profile"
Navigate to the "My Profile" sectionin the top-right corner of the platform.

Select "Request New Account"
Scroll down to find the "Request New Account" option and click on it. -
Choose "Request ISA Account"
From the available options, select "Request ISA Account" to begin the setup process. -
Follow the On-Screen Instructions
Complete the short form and provide any required details. Once your request is submitted, you’ll receive confirmation, and your ISA account will be added to your portfolio.
Opening an ISA for New Clients
If you do not currently have an account with Saxo and want to open a Stocks & Shares ISA account, you’ll need to begin by creating a new account.
Steps to Open a New ISA Account:

Visit the Saxo ISA Account Page
Go to the ISA Account Opening Page. -
Complete the Application Form
Follow the instructions to create your Saxo account and select the ISA account option during the sign-up process. -
Submit the Application
Once you’ve submitted your application, Saxo will review it and notify you when your account is ready.
Things to Note:
- Eligibility: To open an ISA account, you must meet the UK’s ISA eligibility criteria (e.g., being a UK resident for tax purposes).
- Processing Time: Your ISA account will typically be set up within 1-2 business days.
