What's Changing?
1. Commission Fees for Stocks and ETFs
We are transitioning from a cents per share model to using basis points (bps) for commission fees across all major exchanges. This simplifies the fee structure and makes investing more accessible.

Commission fees for Athens Exchange, BME Spanish Exchanges, Euronext Dublin, Prague Stock Exchange, Bursa Malaysia Exchange, remain unchanged.
2. Updated Currency Conversion Fees
We have revised our FX conversion charges for stocks and ETFs to better align with market standards and provide additional benefits for Platinum and VIP clients, including access to currency sub-accounts.

- How do basis points work in practice? Basis points are a standard unit of measure used in financial services to describe percentage changes or fee rates. One basis point equals 0.01%.

Example of Commission Calculation: Commission in basis points is calculated as a percentage of the total transaction value. One basis point equals 0.01%. Example: You buy 100 shares at $50 per share. Your total transaction value is $5,000. If your broker charges a commission of 50 basis points, you calculate: Commission = Total Transaction Value × (Basis Points / 10,000) Commission = $5,000 × (50 / 10,000) = $25 So, you would pay a $25 commission on the transaction. Example of Commission Calculation with GBP Exchange:Scenario: You buy 150 shares at £40 per share on the London Stock Exchange. Total Transaction Value: £6,000 Commission Rate for Classic Clients: 8 basis points Calculation: Commission = £6,000 × (8 / 10,000) = £4.80 Result: You would pay a £4.80 commission on the transaction as a Classic client. When Investing, you'll incur a commission both when you enter a trade (buying shares) and when you exit a trade (selling shares). This means that each time you execute a transaction, whether purchasing or selling, a commission fee is calculated based on the transaction value using the specified basis points rate. This approach ensures you pay for the entire cycle of trading activity, reflecting the total cost associated with both acquiring and liquidating your positions.
