At Saxo, your account security is our priority. For this reason, withdrawals can only be sent to bank accounts that have been verified as belonging to you.
How to register a bank account for withdrawals
The way to register a bank account for withdrawals is to make a bank/wire transfer deposit from that account.
This first transfer allows us to verify that the bank account is in your name.
- The deposit can be any amount.
- The bank account must be in your own name.
- We do not accept deposits or withdrawals to/from third-party accounts.
- For corporate accounts, funds cannot come from or be sent to an individual’s personal account.
- You may deposit from a joint account as an individual, but you may be asked to provide a bank statement showing your name on the account.
Important
- Deposits made by Quick Transfer or card payment do not register a bank account for withdrawals.
- After your first bank/wire transfer, please allow up to three working days for the account to appear in the External account drop-down menu.
If you don't have an account registered for withdrawals or you want to add another account:
- Make a deposit using a bank/wire transfer to your Saxo account
- We verify the incoming payment details and store them for you to withdraw securely. Wait for the notification that the payment has been received (this can take up to 3 business days)
- You can then make withdrawals to the new account
