The cash stocks cannot be shorted at Saxo.
However, clients can short sell CFDs on stocks or CFDs on indices.
A CFD (Contract for Difference) is a financial contract between a client and a CFD provider where the difference between the opening and closing prices of a position is cash-settled upon closing of the position.

Margin products such as CFD or FX are not provided on SaxoInvestor.
You can find CFD on SaxoTrader. For example, if you would like to short Apple CFD, you can search for Apple and choose the instrument with CFD icon. EQ means equity/stock. EQ/O is the option on the stock.
On the trade ticket, choose Sell to short it.
