"Upcoming" corporate actions
Mandatory corporate actions reflects corporate actions relevant to the account that are upcoming from the date announced until the Ex date when they will be moved to active events. They will not be moved to active if there is key data missing which prevents Saxo from being able to process the corporate action.
Voluntary corporate actions reflect corporate actions relevant to the account that are upcoming and have not yet been confirmed and as a result, there is information which is missing in order for holders to make a decision on their investment. Once there is enough information for the corporate action to be confirmed and a decision can be made these will be moved to active events.
In both cases if the event is withdrawn from the issuer these will be moved directly to past events.
"Active" corporate actions
Mandatory corporate actions will be reflected once confirmed, from Ex date until pay date. Once the pay date has been reached, events will be moved to past events to enable holders to still view details.
Voluntary corporate actions will be reflected once confirmed and there is enough information for holders to make a decision on their investment. Once the deadline has been exceeded events will be moved to past events, to enable holders to still view details.
In both cases if the event is withdrawn from the issuer these will be moved to past events.
"Past" corporate actions
Mandatory corporate actions will be reflected once the pay date has been exceeded so that investors can still view the details of the corporate action.
Voluntary corporate actions will be reflected once the deadline has been exceeded so that investors can still view the details of the corporate action.
All corporate actions that have been withdrawn by the issuer will be reflected under past events irrespective of the dates in the corporate action.
