I have a SaxoSelect investment, what should I do?
If you have a SaxoSelect investment, you should have received an email from Saxo containing important information and instructions about the closing of you SaxoSelect account. Please read that email carefully.
How to exit a managed portfolio?
To exit a SaxoSelect portfolio:

Access the SaxoSelect Investments tab within the platform and click Manage.

Click the Stop button. If "Transfer Cash to Main Account" is ticked, the cash will be transferred to the main account after the positions are settled.
- Any remaining cash will stay in your SaxoSelect sub-account until you initiate a transfer to your main account or other sub accounts. Saxo may move your cash to the main account when the SaxoSelect account needs to be closed if you haven't moved the cash by yourself by then.
Another way to manage/exit the SaxoSelect Investments is to go to Portfolio > choose the SaxoSelect account > click the three dots ... > click Manage
How long do I need to wait before I can transfer money to main account?
Following the closure of your SaxoSelect investment account, it will take the standard T+2 days to settle the positions.
After that, you will be able to transfer funds out to your main Saxo account. It is important to note that direct transfers from SaxoSelect to an external account cannot be performed.
How do I withdraw my SaxoSelect investment?
To stop a SaxoSelect portfolio, please follow these instructions:
- In SaxoTraderGO: Click Trading > SaxoSelect Investments > Manage > Stop
- In SaxoTraderPRO: Click Add Module > SaxoSelect Investments > Manage > Stop
After the portfolio has been stopped you can withdraw the full amount as follows:
- In SaxoTraderGO: Click Trading > SaxoSelect Investments > Manage > Withdraw money
- In SaxoTraderPRO: Click Add Module > SaxoSelect Investments > Manage > Withdraw money
Can I transfer my SaxoSelect portfolio to another sub account or another broker/bank?
Managed portfolio cannot be transferred.
What happens if I miss the deadline to stop the portfolio by myself?
Saxo will handle that for you as indicated in the email that you have received. No additional costs will be charged for that.
I have set up eDDA/eGIRO before to send money regularly to my SaxoSelect investment. How do I cancel/edit the schedule?
To cancel your schedule, go to My Profile > Deposit funds > Direct debit / eDDA > Recurring deposit. Click on the schedule you would like to cancel and click "Cancel schedule":
