You can transfer Stocks/Bonds/Mutual Funds to Saxo Markets for Free.
1. Go to your Saxo account main menu > Deposits and transfer > Portfolio transfer > New transfer or click here
2. Select Transfer IN (shall be default). Choose your Saxo account number. If you just opened your Saxo account, you shall only have one currency account and it will be shown there by default (the number starting with 33888). Select TD Ameritrade Clearing and enter your account number at TD Ameritrade:
3. Find the instruments that you want to transfer in, e.g. Apple. If the same company is listed on multiple exchanges you may click the arrow on the right to choose the right exchange.
4. Enter the Quantity, Purchase Price (for your own P/L reference after transfer). Purchase date is optional.
5. Confirm and submit.
Note: TD Ameritrade will require you to submit a transfer out request.

How long does it take to transfer my securities?
The time to complete the process will vary depending on how quickly the counterpart responds and complies with Saxo's request. Considering TD Ameritrade now is having high volume of transfer requests it is likely to take longer than usual, which is 15 business days.

While Saxo does not support the ACAT transfer process, securities can be transferred to Saxo from ACAT eligible members, including TD Ameritrade. You can initiate the transfer as shown above.
