Where can I find my account value?
You can find your Account value in multiple locations. You can find it under Portfolio > Select one account or All accounts > Overview:
(Example from SaxoTrader)
You can also find it at Trading > Summary.
The Account Value is:
- The Cash on the account that includes Cash balance and Transaction not booked
- Plus the market value of any Stocks, Bonds, Options, ETFs and other funds.
- Plus or minus the value of any unrealized profits or losses from open margin positions (CFDs, FX and Futures) on the account
- The Total accruals which include the financing accruals and corporate actions accruals
If you have enabled extended hours trading, your Account Value will reflect extended hours prices as well.
Please be aware that the Value of positions in your Account details might differ from the number shown in the Positions module. This can happen because Account details show real-time values, while the Position module might use delayed pricing based on your market data subscription.
Also, note that there could be a discrepancy between the balance data shown in the Account summary/details and the values shown in the Positions module. Some of the components in the Account summary/details might be using slightly different prices from the prices used in the Positions module. This is designed to protect clients from the risk of a stop-out as a result of spreads widening without the market actually moving.
