You can also track deposits to your Saxo account in certain countries if you get the SWIFT UETR code from your bank by clicking on the 'track an incoming payment' link after following the same steps above.
Click on the link "click here" and get the UETR from your bank.
If you do not find any details here, please reach out to the bank you transferred your funds from.
Potential reasons for rejection
Has a transfer from your Saxo account (withdrawal) been rejected?
If a withdrawal has been rejected, please contact your beneficiary bank.
Saxo Bank can reject deposits (cash transfers to your Saxo account) due to multiple reasons. Some of the most common reasons are:
Account Restrictions
If your account is restricted due to missing client information, it may affect how you can use our services in the future and ultimately put your account on reduced exposure. This means that you will be unable to add funds to your account or open new positions.
To check if your account information is updated, please check status under:
Go to the menu
> Update your personal information > Update account details.
You can also update your account details if they are missing. Once we have finished processing your information, or if we need additional information from you, we will send you an email.
Are you still experiencing problems? We recommend using the chat. You can easily open the chat from your platform:
-
SaxoTrader: Click the support icon
> Chat
-
SaxoInvestor*: Click the support icon
> Chat
-
SaxoTrader desktop: Click the support icon
and the chat opens automatically
Possible third-party transfer
Saxo does not accept payments from accounts or cards that are not in your name (also known as third party payments).
Please note!
Any payments made by a third party will be returned to the source card or bank account.
Aktiesparekonto: Danish Stock Savings Account
This account is available only for Danish residents with MitIDs. Please check yearly limits and terms and conditions of your Aktiesparekonto.
If you deposit more cash into your Aktiesparekonto than what is allowed by the yearly limit, you must withdraw the excess amount as soon as you find the error. We will impose a fee of 3% on the excess amount. Read more: How much can I deposit into my Aktiesparekonto?
You can withdraw money exceeding the yearly limit from your Aktiesparekonto, but you cannot withdraw the amount of funds reserved for taxes. Read more: Can I withdraw money from my Aktiesparekonto during the year?
Unidentified Account
If your transaction has some names or client IDs missing, we may reject it. You can only transfer money to and from your Saxo account using bank accounts that have been verified in your name.
