No fees are charged for holding an account with Saxo, unless the account has been inactive for a prolonged period of time, in which an inactivity fee applies.
For accounts with no trading activity during a period of 6 consecutive months (180 days) an inactivity fee up to USD 150 (!) or equivalent in the account currency will be charged.
You have zero cash balance, and decide to fund the account after more than 180 days of inactivity:
Clients have given a grace period of 30 days after account refund before charging the inactivity fee.
In other words, you must place a trade within 30 days to avoid inactivity fee.

What is considered a trading activity to avoid inactivity fee ?
- A trade executed
OR one of the below :
- Stock / Bonds transfer
- Futures Expiry
- Exercise of FX Option
- Stock Options Expiry
- Corporate Actions (regardless asset class) result a position
- Bonds Maturity
- Barrier Event (FX option)
- Stock/Bond transfer
