No fees are charged for holding an account with Saxo Bank A/S, unless the account has been inactive for a prolonged period of time, in which case an inactivity fee applies.
For Saxo Bank A/S accounts with no trading activity during a period of 6 consecutive months (180 days) an inactivity fee up to USD 150* or equivalent in the account currency will be charged.
If you have zero cash balance and decide to fund the account after more than 180 days of inactivity:
We grant a grace period of 30 days after account refund before charging the inactivity fee.
In other words, you must place a trade within 30 days to avoid an inactivity fee.

What is considered a trading activity to avoid inactivity fee ?
- A trade executed
OR one of the below :
- Stock / Bonds transfer
- Futures Expiry
- Exercise of FX Option
- Stock Options Expiry
- Corporate Actions (regardless asset class) result a position
- Bonds Maturity
- Barrier Event (FX option)
- Stock/Bond transfer
