On all Saxo platforms, you can view the trading conditions for a particular instrument. The trading conditions can help you understand relevant information on costs, trading rates, exchange, trading hours and more.
How to view the trading conditions
On all Saxo platforms, you can view the trading conditions in multiple ways as shown below.

1. In the Product Overview > Click the "i" in the top right corner
2. From the Trade Ticket > Click the "i" in the top right corner
3. In the Portfolio tab > Overview > Click the three dots next to your positions > Click Trading Conditions
What do the trading conditions show?
When you open the trading conditions, you will see three different tabs as described below.
Costs
The cost tab provides you with an overview of the costs you can expect to occur when trading and holding the instrument in your portfolio. You can use the cost calculator to see estimated costs for buying, holding and selling a particular instrument in a customizable period.
For margin products, you can also see associated financing costs and costs for both long and short positions.
- If you want to look at the costs applied to an open position, please read How do I find the position details?
- For closed positions, you can use the Transactions report. Trades are visible there the day after they have been closed.
- SaxoInvestor/SaxoTraderGO: go to the Portfolio tab > Click Transactions.
- SaxoTraderPRO: click Add Module > Trades Executed report under the Account section.

Trading rates
The trading rates tab provides you with an overview of minimum commission, commission, potential conversion rates for instruments traded in other currencies than your account currency and more.
Instrument
The instrument tab provides you with information on which exchange the instrument is traded, minimum trade size, lot size, tick size, rating, collateral value, order types, extended hours trading and more.
You can also discover potential upcoming margin and collateral changes in the trading conditions.
