The funding limit on the Aktiesparekonto is DKK 174,200 (2026), and this is adjusted annually.
When assessing whether you can deposit more into your Aktiesparekonto in 2026 without exceeding the funding limit, you should base it on the account value as of December 31, 2025:
- If the account value on December 31, 2025, was less than DKK 174,200, you can deposit the difference between DKK 174,200 and the account value as of December 31, 2025, in 2026.
You can always see how much more you can deposit into your Aktiesparekonto according to the current funding limit on the Saxo platform:

Click on the main menu
> Look under Deposits and transfers > Deposit funds > Bank transfer
Here, you should select your Aktiesparekonto as the Saxo account you wish to transfer money to, and you will then be able to see your Remaining funding available, which shows the amount you can deposit into your Aktiesparekonto according to the current funding limit (including taxation).

You can also see (if any) the taxation of your Aktiesparekonto, which shows the amount you can deposit to cover the calculated tax for the previous year. Please note that regardless of the funding limit, you can deposit funds to pay any tax in the same year the tax is due (cf. §9 section 2 of the aktiesparekontolov). |
If you accidentally deposit too much into your Aktiesparekonto, you must withdraw the excess amount as soon as you discover the error. A fee of 3% will be imposed on the excess amount. Saxo Bank will automatically calculate and deposit the fee via your Aktiesparekonto.
