The account value shield acts as a stop loss on your entire account value. It enables you to protect capital by specifying a pre-defined stop-out level, which, if triggered, will close all your open positions and cancel all orders.
How to set up an account value shield
SaxoTrader
To set up an account value shield, go to Trading > In the bottom under the Positions module, see Account value shield > Click Off
You can now determine at what account value level you wish to have an account value shield. Note that an account value shield has to be under your current account value. Click Submit to set up

Go to Trading > Summary >Click Off > Determine at what account value level you wish to have an account value shield > Click Submit to set up

Please be aware that we will adjust the amount of cash you can withdraw so that removing funds does not trigger the shield. Inter-account transfers (movements of cash between subaccounts) will also be limited. If you wish to increase the amount you can withdraw, you will need to disable or change the shield value first.
