Due to the Packaged Retail and Insurance-based Investment Products (PRIIPs) Regulation that came into effect on 1. January 2018, which requires financial product “manufacturers” to produce Key Information Documents (KIDs). For each product they produce, they must disclose the key features of the product across risk, rewards and costs.
For a number of instruments, the manufacturer/issuer has chosen not to issue a KID. The effect is that Saxo will no longer be in a position facilitate trading to Retail clients.
You can check if an instrument has the required KIDs in the trading conditions under Cost > Key Information Document.
If you wish to trade US ETFs you need to request a reclassification to professional client. This can be done via the SaxoTraderGO platform: Navigate to Account > Other > Classification status
