You can log in to your Saxo account whilst travelling to most locations, except for the following countries and regions:
Countries*
Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, Ukraine, Yemen, Russia, Belarus and Myanmar
Region of Cyprus: the part north of the UN buffer zone = Turkish part
*Note that this list is subject to sudden changes, and will be updated accordingly as soon as possible
Any attempts at circumventing these restrictions by using VPNs, proxy servers, or similar services intended to mask your physical location could lead to termination of your account.
How does it affect my ability to trade and make changes whilst in a restricted country?
- Any login attempt to the platform from those locations will be prevented.
- Neither you nor the teams at Saxo will be able to take action, manage or change your portfolio on your account while you are in any of the restricted locations, therefore it is important that you plan ahead.
- Access will resume automatically when you return to an unrestricted location.
Why these restrictions?
Saxo does not allow our products and services to be accessed from the above-mentioned sanctioned jurisdictions, in adherence to global sanction regulations.
I am not in one of the restricted countries. Why can’t I use your mobile app?
If you’re using an iPhone, Apple may restrict access to certain apps based on your current location. This is controlled by Apple, not by Saxo.
If you also have an Android phone, you can use our mobile app on it as usual.

With your iPhone, if you cannot use the mobile app, you can simply log in and trade via your mobile browser instead. For faster access, you can also add the website to your home screen, so it works much like an app.
