You can only log in from your trusted devices without approving each login. This is due to our two-factor authentication. A trusted device is a phone, computer, tablet, or browser that you verify as safe to skip two-factor authentication in the future for the same device. |
Adding a trusted device is simple. We will walk you through the process in a few simple steps:
- Logging in and trusting a new device
- Push notifications
- Changing your account phone number
- Managing your trusted devices
Logging in and trusting a new device
- Log in by entering your User ID and Password and click Continue.
- When logging in from a new device, you will be asked to verify:
-
- If you already have the Saxo app on your phone enabled with face ID, fingerprint or device PIN: Approve the login by clicking the push notification sent to you.
- If you don’t have a Saxo app on your device: Approve the login using the verification code sent to you by SMS and click verify.
-
- You now have two options:
-
- If you choose to trust the device, SMS/push notifications will not be needed in the future to log in with the same device.
- If you choose not to trust the device, you will have to verify with SMS/push notifications upon every login on the device.
-
- After making your selection, click Continue to SaxoTraderGO/SaxoInvestor to log in.
Rename the device: After verifying, you can choose to rename the device and we recommend doing so as it provides clarity for future use. |
Push notifications
To get push notifications, you must first enable face ID, fingerprint or device PIN on your Saxo app.
Missing push notifications If you do not receive any push notifications when logging in, please make sure that push notifications are enabled on your phone or tablet. Click Enable push notifications in the login process for guidance on how to do it on your device. Otherwise, you can receive an SMS with a code by clicking Receive notification as SMS. |
Some clients may experience reoccurring push notifications on already trusted devices. This usually happens if:
- Another browser is being used e.g., changing from Safari to Chrome
- The browser has been updated
- The resolution has been changed
- Use of incognito mode

Changing your account phone number
If your registered phone number has changed, you can click Update here during the login process.
Otherwise, go to the Change your phone number page directly and update your details.
Managing your trusted devices
Replacing trusted devices
Trusted device limit A maximum of 6 trusted devices are allowed associated with your account. However, you can always log in from any device without replacing trusted devices, but two-factor authentication will be needed. |
If you try to trust a 7th device, you will have to replace one of your existing trusted devices. You can replace a trusted device by selecting it and clicking Replace and continue.
Remove trusted devices
Trusted devices can be removed by logging in and:
- Click on the menu
- Click Platform settings
- Select Login & Security
- Look under the Trusted Devices section
- Click on Manage devices
Under the Active tab, you can choose to Remove any trusted device from your device list.
If you want to add the device back in the future, you will need to go through the two-factor authentication process again to trust the device.
