The trade ticket allow you to choose order type, whether you are buying or selling, amount or number of units, order duration, and more. Once you have decided on these, you can view expected cost for opening, holding and closing the position, all costs including. This is just an example, if you where to hold for only 30 days. Read more on costs: Trading costs and fees shown in the trade ticket.
Once you have placed an order, it will be displayed in the Order module, unless it has been executed immediately and in that case, it will already be shown in the Positions module as one of your holdings.
What are the different order types?
The available order types depend on the platform you use. SaxoInvestor offers simple order types such as market order and limit order.
SaxoTrader and SaxoTrader Desktop offer a wider range of order types including algo orders, trailing stop orders and more.
