A watchlist is a list of instruments such as stocks or ETFs that you want to keep an eye on and eventually invest in.
As an example, If you get good investment ideas from a podcast or an article in our platform and want to keep track of a few stocks, log in to your Saxo account, search for those stocks and add them to a watchlist.

Note that you can also create lists that update dynamically based on filters by using the screener.
How can I create a watchlist in SaxoTraderGO?
- From the Trading tab, go to Watchlists and click on New
- In the pop-up, give a name to your list, and click Save watchlist
How to add an instrument to your watchlist
You can add instruments to a watchlist from many different places.
Add an instrument directly from the watchlist
You can add an instrument to a watchlist in the Watchlists tab by searching for an instrument in the search bar.
Add an instrument to your watchlist from the product overview
You can add an instrument to a watchlist from the Product overview by clicking the star in the top right corner > Click Add to watchlist and choose the specific watchlist you wish to add the instrument to.
Add an instrument to your watchlist from the positions module
You can also add an instrument from the Positions module by right clicking on an instrument and then click Add to watchlist.
Create a watchlist in Investor
In SaxoInvestor, you can manage your watchlist by clicking the star in the top right corner.
To create a watchlist, click on the star > click New > Give the watchlist a name and click Create.
You can now add instruments to the watchlist from the product overview, positions module in the Portfolio tab, or directly from the watchlist module just like in SaxoTraderGO.
