Setting up Touch ID on iOS
If Touch ID is enabled in the SaxoTraderGO settings, you'll see the message above during your first login. You can choose to use it or stick with standard verification using your User ID and Password. You can always enable or disable it later via the iPhone/iPad Settings . Here, look for SaxoTraderGO to activate or deactivate Touch ID:
Setting up Fingerprint on Android
After installing the App from the Google Play Store, you will be prompted with the option of using Android Fingerprint for verification if your device meets these requirements:
- Device running Android version 6 or higher
- Device is equipped with a fingerprint sensor
- You have at least one fingerprint registered for device authentication
At your first login, you will be given the option to use Fingerprint.
At this point, you have 3 options:
- Dismiss Fingerprint verification by selecting NO. You will be asked again at the next login.
- Dismiss Fingerprint verification and tick "Do not ask again." Fingerprint option will not be displayed unless you clear the app cache or uninstall and re-install the app from Google Play.
- Enable Fingerprint by selecting YES. This will store your credentials in the Android Keystore system, displaying the fingerprint option at every app launch.
If you only have one User ID, Android Fingerprint will apply login credentials automatically upon successful verification.
You can store multiple IDs across demo and live accounts by selecting CANCEL and entering new credentials. You will be prompted to replace current credentials or add them as a second set. Upon successful verification, you can edit stored IDs and select which login credentials to use.
