Incorrect user ID or password
If you see a message stating that your user ID or password is incorrect, you can reset your login details:
- Select "Forgot user ID" or "Forgot password"
- Follow the on-screen instructions
- You will receive further details via your registered email or phone number
For detailed guidance, see: I cannot remember my Saxo user ID or password.
If you enter incorrect details multiple times, your account may be temporarily locked. In this case, wait for the specified time before trying again.
If you see a message about too many attempts, read more: Exceeded maximum login attempts.
Logging in with Apple or Google
You can log in using your Apple or Google account if it has been previously linked to your Saxo account.

Browser compatibility issues
If you still cannot log in, try using a different browser. Some browsers or configurations may not be supported.
Please note:
- Private browsing or incognito mode is not supported
Changing browser may trigger additional verification. Learn more: Adding a trusted device to your Saxo account.
Two-step authentication (2FA)
For security purposes, you will usually be asked to complete two-step authentication when logging in.
This typically involves receiving a verification code via SMS.
If you do not receive the code:
- Check your mobile signal
- Make sure your phone number is correct (use the "update here" option if needed)
- Request the code again
- Select "Send voice message" to receive the code via an automated call

Trusted devices
Once logged in, you can mark your device as trusted. This allows you to skip two-step authentication on future logins from that device.
To manage trusted devices:
- Go to My Profile (top right corner)
- Select Platform Settings
- Choose Login & System Info
- Click Manage Devices
Read more: Manage trusted devices.
Simultaneous logins
Saxo does not support simultaneous logins across multiple devices or platforms.
If you log in on a new device, you will automatically be logged out from any existing session.

Login restrictions when travelling
If you are travelling, access to your account may be restricted depending on your location due to regulatory requirements.
Please note:
- Access from certain countries or regions is not permitted
- Using VPNs or proxy services to bypass restrictions may result in account limitations or closure
- Access will be restored automatically once you return to a supported location
