You can perform securities transfers to or from Saxo from your online account:
- Click the main menu > Deposits and transfers > Portfolio transfer
To complete the transfer request you need to provide the following information:
- Which Saxo account you intend to transfer the securities to/from.
- Whether you want to transfer to or from Saxo.
- The broker details of the sending/receiving bank/broker.
- The securities you intend to transfer (find them by searching in the search field).
- The number of securities and the price to be shown in the platform.

Your broker may request some information of Saxo. Please first initiate the transfer on Saxo platform then export the transfer request you made. All the information of Saxo and your account with Saxo that your broker needs will be in it. Most likely you would need the following information:
- Saxo's full name (in HK): Saxo Capital Markets HK Limited
- Contact person: Stock Transfer
- Contact Phone Number: +91 (124) 4872374
- Contact Email address: bost-ssc@saxobank.com
- Your account number with Saxo: You will see the number at Account when you initiate the transfer on Saxo platform. Normally it starts with 16888. Please choose the right account when you have different currency accounts.

Please be aware:
- Saxo does not accept transfer of securities to accounts not in your name. You can only transfer to your own account in other brokers/banks.
- If you use Margin Lending to hold shares, you cannot transfer out the shares. The shares need to be bought with cash (no loan) before you can transfer them out.
- Your bank or broker may ask you to place a similar request with them in order to accept a security transfer request from Saxo Markets. Please check with your receiving broker/bank.
How long does it take to transfer my securities?
Once you have requested the Security transfer request online, please make sure to give authorization to your bank or broker and provide them with all necessary documents for the transfer, as the time to complete the process will vary depending on how quickly the counterpart responds and complies with Saxo's request. If there is no dependency on the counterpart or the custodian, the transfer usually takes 15 business days to complete.
